Logoff Command -  Task Scheduler Not Working
I'm having an issue with Task Scheduler not completing commands. I'm trying to get a lab of computers to automaticly log off at a specified time. I've been trying to use Vista's Task Scheduler to do this. Our labs are set so that when a computer goes to sleep, it requires a password on wakeup. I'm using the shutdown.exe command with the /l switch. Its set to only run when a user is logged in, set to use highest privileges, and is set to wake computer to run the command. When the user is logged in, and active, it will run the command without an issue. When the computer is asleep the command will wake the computer but will not log it off. When the computer is locked, the command will not log it off. Since the computers lock when woken up and sleep when inactive for 10 min, this is a problem. Alternatively I've tried having it reboot (only one user is logged in at any given time anyway) the system instead of logging it off. I get the same behavior only it will reboot when the system is locked. Nothing will seem to wake the computer and run the command. I know there are GPO's that may help, but I dont have access to impliminting anything beyond the local level and I've had this project placed in my lap. Anyone have any ideas that may help?
